What to pack for Venice in March

March in Venice: typical highs around 13°C, lows around 4°C and about 7 rainy days.

Venice is humid all year: muggy in summer, raw and foggy in winter with occasional acqua alta flooding the lower calli. You will walk everywhere and cross dozens of bridges, so footwear choices matter more than anywhere else in Italy.

The list below assumes a 7-day trip, flying in and sleeping in a hotel.
